VPR and Kniahynyniv Lyceum Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
On June 26, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between ME “Volynpryrodresurs” of the Volyn Regional Council (VPR), headed by Director Anatolii Kapustiuk, and Kniahynyniv Lyceum of the Volyn Regional Council, under the leadership of Director Olha Omelko. This document establishes the foundation for long-term collaboration in the areas of education, environmental enlightenment, scientific research, and career guidance activities.

The document affirms the parties’ intention to implement joint projects and initiatives aimed at deepening practical knowledge in the natural sciences. The collaboration is focused on creating a platform for projects that will help nurture an environmentally responsible generation. In Volyn region, rich in natural resources, it is particularly important to actively engage young researchers in studying the processes of sustainable use of resources such as peat and amber.

Director of "Volynpryrodresurs", Anatolii Kapustiuk, emphasized that the enterprise is committed to supporting young people eager to explore natural sciences and apply their knowledge in practice:
“We are open to scientific cooperation, education, and outreach. Our doors are always open to young people who want to see how a responsible approach to natural resources is formed.”
Following the signing of the Memorandum, the parties continued the meeting with a field visit to the Amber Factory located in the village of Prylisne, Kamin-Kashyrskyi district.

The participants had the opportunity to witness the full technological cycle — from the delivery of raw materials from deposits to sorting, cleaning, quality assessment, and preparation for sale.
VPR will continue to remain open to partnerships focused on the future of Volyn and the preservation of its natural wealth.
On the same day, another Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the mining and extraction VPR and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
